We currently have an opening for the position of Web Programming and Support in our Vietnam Office.
Candidates should meet the following basic requirements:
University Graduate
Fluency in English with TOEIC score of 600+
Knowledge of ASP, ASP.NET, JAVASCRIPT, CSS
Knowledge of PHP
Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL
Familiar with use of Database in applications.
Additional:
Knowledge of DotNetNuke [DNN]
Knowledge of graphics editing [Photoshop or similar]
Must be willing to learn new technologies
Must be able to DOCUMENT clearly work which is being done.
JOB RESPONSIBILTY:
Under direction be able to perform:
Maintenance on existing Web Sites and applications
Development of New Web Sites in basic coding methods running in IIS Windows Environment.
Development of Complex Data Base Driven Web Site with advanced coding methods
Development and Maintenance of PHP/MySQL Web Sites running in CENTOS LINUX.
Perform some Web Site Maintenance which is primarily clerical, but requires some HTML knowledge.
Document all activities using a "Ticket" system.
Applicant is expected to be innovative and self motivated.
Must be able to work well both independently and in a group.
Applicant will be required to communicate with customers from a wide variety of backgrounds.
All communications should be in English.
WORKING HOURS and CONDITIONS:
The work week is 8am - 5pm M-F and 8am - noon Sa. Sunday OFF.
There is a 1 hour lunch break from noon-1pm
Normal Vietnam Public Holidays apply.
Annual Vacation is 2 weeks after 1 year of continuous employment.
Paid Sick time is 10 days per year AFTER the first year.
A probation period of 90 days applies to all new employees.
Employees are evaluated in performance after 90 days and if satisfactory, employee transfers to standard employee status.
Performance reviews are normally every 6 months. Salary adjustment is based on performance and meeting performance goals.
Employees may be requested to work over-time to meet project deadlines. Overtime is paid based on approved hours and time sheets.
Salary payments are semi-monthly.
The period 1-15 is normally paid on 25th of the month.
The period 16-last is normally paid on the 10th of the following month.
If an employee wishes to terminate employment for whatever reason, it is expected that a minimum notice of 15 days be given prior to the requested termination date. During this notice period, the employee is expected to turn over all relevant information to allow a smooth transition of work to another employee. Failure to give notice [without adequate reason] will result in forfeiture of any accrued salary or benefits.
